It's about my left eye this time. For the past month I have had a floater in my eye. Went to Specsavers first, they referred me to the Rapid Access Clinic for Eyes (RACE for short), they referred me to the Diabetic Eye Clinic who I went to see this past Monday. They have decided they want to zap my left eye with a laser to fix the problem. I can't say I'm not worried about the whole thing because I am, but the one thing I am concerned about is not being able to drive ever again, as not being able to drive will take my independence away from me, making me housebound as there is no way I can go on public transport, and I won't rely on friends to get me to places, my life will be over as I know it.
