PANIC! WORRY! PANIC SOME MORE..... 😱

I have just read this on Twitter

The Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine has been suspended in the Republic of Ireland

Ireland’s health ministry NIAC recommended the move following reports of serious blood clotting events in adults in Norway, BBC News reports. Meanwhile, WHO said countries should not stop using the vaccine due to there being no link between Oxford-AstraZeneca and an increased risk of developing a clot. The Public Health Agency in Northern Ireland said it would "closely monitor" the situation.

@BBCWorld News said, In a statement, Northern Ireland's Department of Health said it administers vaccines under the "expert direction of the MHRA".

It said it had received guidance from the MHRA in light of the vaccine's suspension in the Republic and that the "roll-out of Northern Ireland's vaccination programme will continue".

The Department of Health also said a "further expansion of the programme will be announced very shortly".

Chair of the British Medical Association NI's GP committee, Dr Alan Stout, said it was important that anyone with a vaccine appointment scheduled attends it as planned.

"We are confident that the vaccine is extremely safe to use and it is one of the key facets of our fight against Covid-19," he said.

Saturday 6th March I had the first part of this vaccine, with my current health conditions, do I need to be worried about this news or not? I am on two tablets for my blood / heart, as well as other medication. I need to know if I will be safe, or am I about to croak?

This is a real concern for me, and I am very VERY worried

UPDATE 17th March: So 37 cases of blood clots in the EU and UK, and 7 deaths, it's nothing big, and far less then a normal year. After sitting doing nothing for a year blood clots are bound to occur, you start.moving about again after getting your first vaccine, the blood clot moves... that is not rocket science. Any fatalities from the vaccine are far less then deaths from Covid. Get your vaccine, have your jab, get your life back.

I heard on BBC's The One Show yesterday that you do get side effects from the first dose of the Oxford Astra Zeneca one, but side effects from the second dose of the Pfizer one.

REMEMBER: After your vaccine, you still must wear your mask, social distance and clean your hands to prevent any spread to those who have not yet been vaccinated

Cornflakes coated chicken Inspired by Nigella  In a bowl mix together the following Mustard (of your choice - dijon, whole grain or French) Two cloves of garlic (grated) Egg (to combine) mix well until all ingredients are combined. To this add 2 chicken breast fillets flattened into escallops, let them bathe for a while, while you prepare the coating. In another dish pour some cornflakes , massage them into crumbs, add some paprika or cayenne pepper ( depending on your taste ), mix together. Take the chicken out of your mustard mixture and coat in the cornflakes, make sure you coat well. Fry in a pan until the chicken is cooked. Serve with a nice salad. Christmas 2023 and into 2024

  I'm not feeling like Christmas right now. My Dad's woman friend, Tel, passed away, she was found by Police yesterday, after Dad hadn't heard from her in a few days. I'm feeling less than perfect. He's not told my sister yet, but she couldn't care less! She's said as much in an email basically washing her hands of it all and has more or less told me to take sides. Now I'm going to have to confront Dad about his house, there's no way I can set foot in there as the smell makes me want to throw up, didn't want to do that til new year. Oh what a Christmas this will be, damn it. I feel like I'm trapped between two dead end roads with no right of way. My downstairs neighbour said if my sister isn't talking to him she won't know I've been there. I can see where she is coming from though. I can't set foot in the house as it is anymore, it turned my stomach the other day, even a face mask don't help. I've decided to send my Da

London Trip 2023

Down to London then, staying in an apartment in Hounslow while down here, it's not the Ritz but it's not a dump either. Comfortable sofa, comfortable bed too, few strange point that make 'Sweet Home' quirky, just wish I could park my car closer, will look in to that later! Explored the town part of Hounslow, saw where Sunrise Radio is located, and some fabulous places to eat and buy food and other bits. The Christmas tree in the town lacks something, but it's an Asian / multi cultural area, with various faiths about, so let the local authority off on that one.  Had a good night's sleep, so off to another part of London, it's blue skies outside, but a bit on the chilly side.
