Nice f*** up .GOV

Piddled off and stressed.is the understatement. A certain government arm messes up, and just as the mess up is uncovered I am trying to order my new Motability car, AND I get a call from a coach company for an interview as I showed an interest in becoming a driver!

The mess up has affected both. 

You see what happened was, back earlier this year I got in touch with the DVLA about removing the medical part of my driving licence as I no longer need insulin to control my diabetic control. When this happened somehow code '78' got added. This code means only AUTOMATIC cars can be driven.

I've only ever driven manual cars, never been assessed for automatic. Before I sent in the request there was no code '78'

Code '01' is for glasses / contacts

And after the request for the medical part, code '78' was added!



So pissed off right now, could do without this right now.


There's one thing this government is good at being, that is inept and fantastic at f***ing up, what ever they touch turns to crap


(I'm not blaming Welsh Labour for this, as anything .gov is down to the Conservatives)


Update FRIDAY 25th August:

Not feeling right, events.of yesterday, the mess up by the @DVLAgovuk and the 78 code on my driving licence since May (their fault it's there, want it corrected right away) never assessed for driving Automatic, only ever assessed for Manual @UKGovWales @GOVUK #sortit

Cornflakes coated chicken Inspired by Nigella  In a bowl mix together the following Mustard (of your choice - dijon, whole grain or French) Two cloves of garlic (grated) Egg (to combine) mix well until all ingredients are combined. Christmas 2023 and into 2024

  I'm not feeling like Christmas right now. My Dad's woman friend, Tel, passed away, she was found by Police yesterday, after Dad hadn't heard from her in a few days. I'm feeling less than perfect. He's not told my sister yet, but she couldn't care less! She's said as much in an email basically washing her hands of it all and has more or less told me to take sides. Now I'm going to have to confront Dad about his house, there's no way I can set foot in there as the smell makes me want to throw up, didn't want to do that til new year. Oh what a Christmas this will be, damn it. I feel like I'm trapped between two dead end roads with no right of way. My downstairs neighbour said if my sister isn't talking to him she won't know I've been there. I can see where she is coming from though. Cons proposals for PIP Sunak and his government need flogging - end of! Here are his government's proposals relating to PIP. Awards for claimants with physical health conditions and those with mental health issues were called into question by Sunak. He argued that whilst some people need money for aids such as handrails or stairlifts “Often they’re already available at low cost, or free from the NHS or Local Authorities.
