Breakfast and shopping

Ventured out to Bridgend for a Toby breakfast, didn't have much, but Neil did go up for seconds, his plate was full the second time!, then aimed for Cardiff and to IKEA. Seemed to have walked for miles in there, then to M&S at Culverhouse Cross.

Why are shops so brightly illuminates? it's not a foodball match, don't need to be flood lit you know, some don't enjoy the bright lights, you can count me in that number!

All in all a break from the flat, plus I had Neil's take on the world en- route too.... and added plus, maybe.

Got easily drained, as my sleep in the night was interrupted by the need to pee, it's my new diabetic tablets, before I was on them I only needed to get up once,.now's it's 3 or more, annoying, very annoying. 

Talking of tablets, went to SA1 surgery to pick up prescription, only to discover the prescription has gone to my chemist in Winch Wen. 

I've got an injection delivery due tomorrow, so need to wait in for that.

Cornflakes coated chicken Inspired by Nigella  In a bowl mix together the following Mustard (of your choice - dijon, whole grain or French) Two cloves of garlic (grated) Egg (to combine) mix well until all ingredients are combined. To this add 2 chicken breast fillets flattened into escallops, let them bathe for a while, while you prepare the coating. In another dish pour some cornflakes , massage them into crumbs, add some paprika or cayenne pepper ( depending on your taste ), mix together. Take the chicken out of your mustard mixture and coat in the cornflakes, make sure you coat well. Fry in a pan until the chicken is cooked. Serve with a nice salad. Cons proposals for PIP Sunak and his government need flogging - end of! Here are his government's proposals relating to PIP. Awards for claimants with physical health conditions and those with mental health issues were called into question by Sunak. He argued that whilst some people need money for aids such as handrails or stairlifts “Often they’re already available at low cost, or free from the NHS or Local Authorities. Christmas 2023 and into 2024

  I'm not feeling like Christmas right now. My Dad's woman friend, Tel, passed away, she was found by Police yesterday, after Dad hadn't heard from her in a few days. I'm feeling less than perfect. He's not told my sister yet, but she couldn't care less! She's said as much in an email basically washing her hands of it all and has more or less told me to take sides. Now I'm going to have to confront Dad about his house, there's no way I can set foot in there as the smell makes me want to throw up, didn't want to do that til new year. Oh what a Christmas this will be, damn it. I feel like I'm trapped between two dead end roads with no right of way. My downstairs neighbour said if my sister isn't talking to him she won't know I've been there. I can see where she is coming from though.
